what time period are they? I've never heard of them before.

I think 70s-80s period around the time of the snap in webbing, it was experimental

These liners and more exact this type of suspensionsystem are from the mid 1970's, and were developed from the early '70,s as a part of the LINCLOE ( Lightweight Individual Clothing and Equipment ) program.
Here is my helmet with Welson-Davis suspension system:

We got a Welson-Davis on the 'Bay now M1helm162

It is not dated nor has it any markings, the linershell is of the nylon type and is made by Marmac. Smile
