Hello from Uruguay

Hi all guys

well, my name is Jorge Panuncio and I`m from Uruguay.... down south and in warm days now...
I collect general headgear and US uniforms and field equipment; not only helmets, but must say, the M1 is one of the helmets I like most than the rest, well like the MKII :-))).
Our country used the M1 since 1945, when the first US Army donations come here just ended the WW II and remains in active service until late 90`s; when replaced by the ballistic M76.
Glad to join and thanks to Militarykid for put the notice about this forum in another one not so focused on helmets.

ops.... I put the comment after end it.... The 37th has more Medal of Honor recipients than any other division in the military.
