Korean USAF.

Heres a lid I bought a little while back,it's a rear seam,swivel loop,late war model ,that has been reisued to use in the Korean war.it's still got quite a bit of it's original cork finish,repainted with a semi gloss finish.

Heatstamp 126A , nothing special really,except it looks great on display and is a talking point.

126A.......this heatstamp,loosely relates this lid to being made around April 1942....yet it's a rear seam........?????????? Ah,the mystery of Heatstamps!
