3rd infantry division helmet

Here, one of my best 3rd IDUS helmet in my collection :



It comes to Lyon, France where the Third passed.

Here the patchs, handmade



There is a "laundry number" on the shin stap



And the heat number on the steel shell is 31, so it's a early Mc Cord production, end of 1941.

Thanks Dogface44, I have no helmet coming from Lure... and 7 or 8 3rd Div Lids including complete helmets and liners parts

Yes of course :



It's a Firestone liner, mid 1943 manufactured

7 or 8, can't wait to see the rest either. Being a unit specific collector myself it's always great to see collections of a single unit.
